About The Event
Pint of Science is a global festival where researchers discuss their findings with the general public and engage in conversation while enjoying a few drinks. The festival takes place every year for 3 days in May, simultaneously in pubs and cafes or other public places all over the world. Pint of Science is a foundation and has no profit motive. This is a unique opportunity for scientists to do public outreach in a relaxing setting. You can check more information in our website as well as on our social media.
It is a great pleasure to invite you this year's Pint of Science event entitled “The Spectrum in STEM” on the 21 of May. This session will particularly showcase research from/about members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Science brings together people from all types of different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, culminating in more innovative ideas and collaborative solutions.
